Cool Galleries in Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham

I recently had the pleasure of meeting with Paul Friedrich of Onion Head Monster. He was kind enough to take a look at a comic I've half finished as well as my new shirt designs...

So I'll be printing these shirts soon so Paul sent me a list of all the places surrounding Raleigh that are open to less traditional forms of art. Like paintings of comic book panels or screen printed monsters.

I asked if he'd be willing to post this list online for anyone seeking to market their artwork in the Raleigh area and he agreed. So here's Paul Friedrich's guide to the cool places in Raleigh to put your art work.

Let it be known that his target demographic is first time art buyers who have to save some to get the 350 - 500 that his paintings cost. Of course he has little 40 dollar paintings too for those such as myself :)

Here's Paul:

and cup of joe has at least three locations. I think the one in north raleigh at quail corners is owned by someone different. and may be smoke free. I think they're trying to treat artwork well at their shop.
